Thanks for that, no I don't have the book. How would you send it? I'll keep in touch with you as you may be able help me identify people in photos.
23, Green Lane is the address on my birth certificate, but I only lived there till I was 2. Stella on the other hand lived there until 2011. Regards! Don

Hi Don,yes I remember them both,they were friends of my parents,Ronnie and Doris Smith,lived at 6 Green Lane,from 1939 to 1990, they were all members of Suburb committee,Billy was a real nice bloke too,always spoke,always chatting to neighbours..infact Iv'e found a photo of May in a book called the,archive photographs series,Oldham.compiled by Freda Millet, on page 99 she was in a photo at YMCA Rhodes Bank in 1949 at a keep fit class,,if you havn't got the book Ill scan it for you,,I'm certain its May,,regards Dave.

Thanks for your comment Dave. I didn't know May's husband much, but I thought he was called Tom. I asked Stella (my aunt), but she couldn't remember, though she is 99.
I think May was into photography developing & printing, so we have loads of photos.
